My Story, Website to warn of floods

THE Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) has put up a website to alert the public of impending floods.

The PublicInfoBanjir website provide information and issues early warning of floods in high-risk areas, said Deputy Natural Resources and Environment Minister Tan Sri Joseph Kurup in Malacca yesterday. It is to enable people to make preparations early before the floods strike, he told a news conference.

DID director-general Datuk Ahmad Husaini Sulaiman said the information on the website was live and would be
updated regularly.
