My Story, Unemployed fined RM4,000 for distributing loan advertisements without permit

KUALA LUMPUR: An unemployed man was fined RM4,000, in default five months' jail, by the Magistrate's Court here today for distributing/pasting 680 pamphlets on offers for various loans without an
advertisement permit last Thursday.

Magistrate handed down the sentence on Lam Seng Won, 21, who pleaded guilty to the charge.

Lam, from Sandakan, Sabah, 21, was charged with committing the offence at the Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) switchboard at Jalan Hujan Rahmat 1 OUG, Brickfields near here at 3.30pm on Oct 27, 2011.
