LONDON: Juan Mata is convinced club and country teammate Fernando Torres will come good for Chelsea.

However, the Premier League’s record scorer warns Torres is destined to fail unless he can get back to doing what he used to do for Liverpool.

Torres’ first league start in eight games saw him fail to score once again as Chelsea’s flickering title flame was surely extinguished by the 1-1 Boxing Day draw with Fulham.
