GENEVA: Malaysia articulated its stand at a conference here on Monday, calling for a need to balance Internet freedom, particularly social media engagement, with human values.
Stressing the point at the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Telecom World 2011 conference, Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said there should be elements of social media responsibility among its practitioners.
