My Story, Politicians ‘will hijack student political freedom’

PETALING JAYA: THE consequences of granting higher institutions of education students the liberty to hold demonstrations must be studied before the government amends the Universities and University Colleges Act.

Universiti Malaya's History Department emeritus professor, Tan Sri Khoo Kay Kim (pic), told The Malay Mail such moves were needed to be studied thoroughly and should not be made without realising the consequences.
