State budget to stimulate growth of private sector

KANGAR: Perlis will focus on boosting its economy by increasing private sector participation in new industrial areas next year, said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Md Isa Sabu.
He said the 2012 state budget, tabled at the Perlis state Legislative Assembly yesterday among others targetted on efforts and initiatives to be taken by the state government to enhance private sector participation.
"The move hopefully will be able to stimulate the growth of the economy in sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, tourism and logistics," he said.
