KUALA LUMPUR: Perkasa will remain as a non-governmental organisation and has no intention of competing with Umno, its president, Datuk Ibrahim Ali said.
He said Perkasa would never change its status into a political party and would continue to remain as the bulwark to protect the country from its enemies.
"Perkasa was set up as an organisation to champion the cause of the Malays and bumiputera.
