EDDIE MURPHY (pic) has quit as host of the Oscars next year. The comedian and actor follows Brett Ratner, who resigned from producing the show earlier yesterday so as not to tarnish the reputation of the Academy Awards after he made a number of ill-judged comments, the Times of India reports.
