KUALA LUMPUR: The Cheras Umno Division has questioned the Bar Council and the Malaysian Human Rights Commission’s (Suhakam) silence on the opposition being adamant to hold an illegal assembly on Monday.
Division chief, Datuk Wira Syed Ali Al-Habshee claimed the attitude of the two bodies clearly showed them as conspiring with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to use street demonstrations to clear himself of the sodomy charge.
