My Story, Merchants warned against raising prices

BERA, Pahang: Traders have been warned not to raise the price of goods at their whims and fancy during the Hari Raya Aidiladha celebrations next week, as the Festive Season Price Control Scheme would not be activated during the festival.

Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the ministry's enforcement team would monitor the prices of essential goods during the festival.
