SHAH ALAM: Durex Sexual Well -being Global Survey

THE sexual attitudes and behaviour of most Malaysians are putting them at risk of HIV infections and other sexually-transmitted diseases The Durex Sexual Wellbeing Global Survey, released to mark World AIDS Day on Dec 1, elucidated that almost eight out of 10 Malaysians lack knowledge on HIV and AIDS.
Some 40 per cent of Malaysians do not use protection when they have sex for the first time and 34 per cent do not know the sexual history of their partners.
In such a context, the risk of sexually transmitted infection such as HIV is exacerbated.
