My Story, Litterbugs can block success of River of Life project

KUALA LUMPUR: The littering habit among Malaysians could be the main stumbling block to the success of the River of Life project.

KL mayor Tan Sri Ahmad Fuad Ismail raised this concern as one of the possible setbacks of the project, aimed at revitalising the Klang and Gombak rivers into a livable waterfront with high economic value.

“I am not worried about the planning and execution of the beautification project as Aecom has the expertise to successfully carry it out,” he said at the signing ceremony with Aecom Perunding Sdn Bhd.
