KUALA LUMPUR: Keep children out of politics.
This was the message put across by Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil yesterday, who called for political parties from both sides of the divide to steer clear of bringing minors into their political games.
"All parties, be it the government of the day or the Opposition, should not drag children into politics," she told reporters after launching a seminar on working parents.
"Just leave them out of politics."
