KUALA LUMPUR: The Private Higher Education Institutions (IPTS) Act 1996 and two other higher education institution-related Acts should also be amended so that the amendment made to Section 15 of the Universities and University Colleges Act (UUCA) 1971 will be more comprehensive.
Deputy Higher Education Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah said the two other Acts were the Universiti Teknologi Mara Act 1976 and the Educational Institutions (Discipline) Act 1976.
