My Story, Hishammuddin: M’sia prepared to learn from other countries in handling public rallies

LANGKAWI: Malaysia is prepared to learn from the experiences of other countries in handling public rallies to balance the need for public order with fundamental human rights like freedom of speech and the right to assemble.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said what was important was police cooperation and balancing individual rights with the rights of the majority.
