KAJANG: Police arrested one of three hijackers of a lorry whose driver was found tied inside the vehicle which was transporting stolen plywood to a factory in Kajang.
In the 6am incident on Sunday, three policemen on patrol in Sungai Chua became suspicious of a lorry which had just pulled into a petrol station.
Kajang district police chief Ab Rashid Ab Wahab said that when the cops flagged down the lorry, three men jumped out and fled.
"We managed to arrest one of the men and upon checking the lorry, found the driver bound and gagged," he said.
