KUALA LUMPUR: The Genting Group has landed its largest ever project overseas with the award to redevelop the Jacob Javits Convention Center in Manhattan jointly with the New York State government.
The 18-acre project has been initially tagged at US$4 billion (RM12.6 billion), dwarfing the original estimates set at US$3.8 billion for the planned Resorts World Miami and S$3.85 billion (RM9.4 billion) forecast at first for Resorts World SIngapore.
