SIBU: Five members of a family, three of them children, were brutally murdered here at about 7 am today, police said.
Sibu Police chief ACP Shafie Ismail said a 36-year-old timber and shipping businessman, his 80-year-old mother, a 10-year-old daughter and an eight-year-old son were found dead in several places at their house in RTM Road.
A seven-year-old son of the businessman died at Sibu Hospital after he was admitted there with severe head injuries, he said.
