KUALA LUMPUR: The Defence Ministry has offered the services of the armed forces to assist the police handle the gatherings of supporters and opponents of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim here on Monday.
Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the armed forces are always ready to help although they are confident the police can handle the situation.
