MACAU: World No 1 Lee Chong Wei pulled out of the Macau Open, allegedly because he was lethargic from playing in too many tournaments.
Chong Wei, who went straight to Macau after losing in the semifinals of the China Open in Shanghai on Saturday, apparently indicated his intention during the team managers’ meeting yesterday.
The Penangite will now concentrate on the Super Series Masters Finals in Liuzhou, China on Dec 14-18.
