My Story, Alert neighbour and cops foil two burglars

KAJANG: A neighbour's watchful eye and quick response from police averted a burglary at Taman Sri Jenaris on Wednesday.

In the 4.30am incident, a woman shouted for help when she spotted two men breaking into her neighbour's house.

Two policemen on motorcycle patrol heard her shouts and arrived in time to see the two men fleeing.

After a brief scuffle, the policemen managed to arrest the men, both 24.

Kajang district police chief Ab Rashid Ab Wahab said the policemen sustained minor injuries on their hands and legs.
